Notes on the Work A hybrid publication containing three interconnected stories by John P. Moore, originally published in the Illustrated Feature Section, a syndicated publication distributed to Black newspapers of the era, in 1930, representing the first known Space Opera tale written by a Black science fiction author. The stories are accompanied by critique and analysis and several appendices containing bibliographic and historical information. In 1930, there was another Amazing Stories, not on the newsstands, but within the pages of Black newspapers.
